Are you all ready for some of my favourite engagement photos that I did in downtown Edmonton? I don’t think you’re ready. Prepare yourselves for Lexi, the cutest little pupper who was the best girl and only photobombed us with a pee once!

Stacey and I only had a few days to plan out their engagement session, as Jason worked out of town and was only home for a few days over the weekend. First order of business, was making sure Lexi could come. OF COURSE. Then, we had to decide on the perfect location in Edmonton. It had to be pet friendly, preferably outdoors, easy to get to, and with a great view.

I suggested a few locations around the Edmonton River Valley and in Old Strathcona for her engagement photos, but we ultimately decided to go down near the Edmonton River Boat launch and see what we could find. The best part about this location for engagement photos, was that there was so much variety for photo spots.

The thirty minute session was more than enough time to get some gorgeous photos of the beautiful couple. And we even got a few glamour shots of the adorable Lexi!

It was so much fun walking around down by the river and getting a great view of down town. It was the true summer feeling.

Also, the first spot we picked had the best light ever! It was sunny, but the sun was setting behind the buildings downtown so we found a great spot under a tree to diffuse the light and get that sunset glow.
