This past weekend I got to be part of a Shelley and Roy’s summer backyard wedding just outside of Fort Saskatchewan… And what a magical day it was.
It was a cold afternoon, especially for a Saturday in August. A heavy rain poured over the ceremony site less than two hours before they said I do. The wind was strong, but perfect for wind swept photos. The sun shone, but was not too hot. It was perfect for a wedding on their acreage!
We had to make a few adjustments throughout the planning process. Some family members were not able to be present. And with a total count of less than 25, it was still a magical and love filled day. A really great idea they had was to set up some video cameras to record their wedding day!
Hand made details and a secluded ceremony site made this day even more special. To top it off, a local food truck was hired for their reception and what a delicious way to finish off their wedding day!
I was so thankful to be a part of their beautiful wedding, scroll to see some of the photos from their summer backyard wedding!
